BARNSFIELD PARK

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Proceed east on Lafayette Blvd towards Fredericksburg for approximately 5.8 miles then right at the traffic light onto Blue-Grey Parkway. Cross the Rappahannock River and exit onto Rt 3 going east towards King George. Drive approximately 18 miles then left at the traffic light (Fas-Mart on the corner) onto Rt 206 past King George High School. Proceed about 9.3 miles to US 301 then left at the traffic light towards the Potomac River Bridge and Maryland. Go about 3.1 miles, past the truck weigh station, then left into Barnesfield Park.

From: Spotsylvania Mall (Intersection of Rt 3 (Plank Road) and I-95) - Proceed east on Rt 3 towards King George (continue on the by-pass; do not go thru the city of Fredericksburg--unless you really want to do that) for approximately 20 miles. Turn left at the Fas-Mart onto Rt 206 past King George High School. After about 9.3 miles, turn left at the traffic light onto US 301. Go approximately 3.1 miles then left into Barnesfield Park which is just past truck weigh station.

BATTLEFIELD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Go west on Rt 208 (Courthouse Road) for approximately 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Rt 639 (Leavells Crossing Road) and go approximately 1.6 miles, then left into Battlefield Elementary School on left.

BROCK ROAD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Proceed west on Rt 208 for approximately 6.4 miles to Spotsylvania Courthouse. Turn right onto Rt 613 (Brock Road)) for 8.5 miles; the school is on the right. From: Spotsylvania Courthouse (Intersection of Rt 208 (Courthouse Road) and Rt 613 (Brock Road)) - Proceed north on Rt 613 for 8.5 miles, the school is on the right.

From: Spotsylvania Mall .4 mi west of I-95 on Rt.3. Proceed west on Rt 3 for approximately 8.5 miles to Rt 621 (note sign to Fawn Lake). Turn left onto Rt 621 then another left onto Rt 600 after about 0.2 miles. Go to the end of Rt 600 (about 1.8 miles) then left onto Brock Road for about 0.2 miles to the school on the left.

CARL LEWIS SOCCER FIELDS

From: I-95 exit #143 Aquia Harbor. Go to left at the signal light on to US Rt. 1. Go approximately 1.2 miles then right at the Crucifix on to Rt 637 (Telegraph Road). Go 0.2 miles to Carl Lewis CC on the right.

CAROLINE HIGH SCHOOL

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Proceed south on US 1 for about 0.4 miles then left at the light onto Mine Road (Rt 636) at McDonald's. Go about 3.6 miles to Hamilton Crossing (General Products, Inc and the railroad tracks) then left onto Benchmark Road (Rt 608) for about 0.9 miles. Turn right onto Tidewater Trail (US Rt.17 business/Rt 2) follow signs to Bowling Green. Once in Bowling Green, turn right at the light onto Rt 207 and drive for about 5-6 miles to Caroline High school on the left. The fields are behind the high school.

From: Spotsylvania Mall .4 mi west of I-95 on Rt.3. Proceed east on Rt 3 towards Fredericksburg for about 1.2 miles. Passing under US Rt.1, continue straight ahead at the traffic light onto Blue-Gray Parkway, around the city of Fredericksburg, for about 1.3 miles crossing over the railroad tracks. Exit southbound onto Dixon Street (Tidewater Trail; US17 business/Rt 2) and follow signs to Bowling Green. Once in Bowling Green, turn right at the light onto Rt 207 and drive for about 5-6 miles to Caroline High school on the left. The fields are behind the high school.

Note: An alternate route is to take I-95 south towards Richmond. Exit I-95 at the Carmel Church/Bowling Green exit heading east on Rt 207. The school is about 6 miles on the right.

CHANCELLOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Proceed north on US 1 approximately 0.6 miles then left at traffic light onto Rt 620 (Harrison Road) for about 4.7 miles to Rt 3 (Plank Road--[not Old Plank Road]). CHEWNING PARK

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Proceed west on Rt 208 for approximately 6.5 miles to Spotsylvania Courthouse, then left on Rt 208 for about 3.8 miles to Snell (4-way stop). Turn right at the 4-way stop. Continue until you get to split in road (several miles). At split, continue on Rt. 606 for 8.6 miles to the park. From Spotsylvania Courthouse area (Intersection of Rt 208 (Courthouse Road) and Rt 613 (Brock Road)) - South on Rt 208 for about 3.8 miles to Snell (4-way stop). Turn right at 4-way stop and continue to split in road. At split, take Rt. 606 for 8.6 miles to the park on the right.

From: Spotsylvania Mall .4 mi west of I-95 on Rt.3. Proceed west on Rt 3 for approximately 1.5 miles to Rt 639 (Salem Church Road). COSNER PARK

Note: The entrance sign is difficult to see and the park is not visible from the highway. The park sits about 0.3 miles off the highway behind trees.

Go about 1.4 miles just past the trash collection site (on the right) and turn left onto Rt 638 (Lansdowne Road). Proceed about 2.3 miles to Dixon Street/Tidewater Trail (business US17/Rt 2) then right (south) towards Shannon airport and Fredericksburg Country Club (and Bowling Green) for approximately 1.8 miles to Cosner Park on the left.

From: Spotsylvania Mall .4 mi west of I-95 on Rt.3. Proceed east on Rt 3 towards Fredericksburg for about 1.2 miles. Passing under US-1, continue straight ahead at the traffic light onto Blue-Gray Parkway, around the city of Fredericksburg, for about 1.3 miles crossing over the railroad tracks. COURTHOUSE COMMUNITY CENTER (Old Stafford Middle School)

From: I-95 exit 140 (Route 630) Follow Route 630 east (north bound turn right, south bound turn left) for approximately 1 mile to the stoplight at the Route 1 intersection. Turn left onto Route 1 and go north one block to the next stoplight. The Old Stafford Middle School is on the immediate right at that stoplight; the large field is imrnediately in front of the school on the side bordering Route 1. Turn right at the stoplight and make the first right into the school parking lot. The smaller field is south of the school building and the parking area.

COURTHOUSE ROAD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Proceed west on Rt 208 for about 2.7 miles, then left at traffic light at Rt 629 (Foster Road) into school parking lot. Field is behind school.

COURTLAND HIGH SCHOOL

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Proceed west on Rt 208 for about 3.2 miles, then left at traffic light onto Rt 628 (Smith Station Road)

From: Spotsylvania Mall .4 mi west of I-95 on Rt.3. Proceed west on Rt 3 for approximately 1.5 miles to Rt 639 (Salem Church Road). Turn left onto Rt 639 and go about 3.5 miles to Rt 208 (Courthouse Road). Right onto Rt 208 for about 1.9 then left at traffic light for 0.4 miles to Courtland High School on the left.

CULPEPER HIGH SCHOOL

From I-95 Rt 3 west to Culpeper. Turn right on Main St. and continue all the way through town. At the traffic light at the bottom of hill Main St. turns into Rt. 229. Go straight on Rt. 229 and avoid four lane fork towards Wal-Mart. Continue for approximately 1 mile and turn right on to Achievement Drive. Go between schools to field on the lower level.

CURTIS PARK

From I95, take Route17 west toward Hartwood. Turn right at Route 612 (Hartwood Road). Turn right at Jesse Curtis Lane (Curtis Park) Curtis Park, on Hartwood Road (SR-612), is 2 miles north of Warrenton Road (US-17)

DREW MIDDLE SCHOOL

From I-95 north to Exit 140 (towards Stafford). Turn right stop sign at the bottom of the exit and take Rt. 630 East. Go approximately 1 mile to the traffic signal and turn right onto Route 1 South. Go about 5 miles. Drew is an older brick building that sits on the right side of Route 1, at the top of a big hill.

DUFF GREEN PARK

From I-95 take exit 133 Fredericksburg/Warrenton (the US 17 Falmouth exit). Follow Business US 17 South towards Fredericksburg (actually Warrenton Road heading east towards Falmouth). Cross US 1 at the Falmouth traffic light and continue straight east on Butler Road. Continue on Butler Road to traffic lights by Earl's Hardware. Turn right onto White Oak Road, Rt 218 West, go 0.4 mile. Turn left at the lights onto Kings Hwy, Rt 3 East, (away from Chatham Bridge over Rappahannock River from Fredericksburg) Proceed 2.7 miles on Rt. 3 East. Turn right onto James Ashby Parkway (you're now entering Duff Green Park).

EVANGEL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

Evangel Christian School plays at Howison Park. From I-95 in Virginia: Take Exit 156 and go west about 2.5 miles on Dale Blvd until reaching Minneville Road. Turn left and go 2 miles and go through intersection with Spriggs Road. Fields are 1/4 mile past Spriggs road on the right side.

FAIRFAX BAPTIST

From I-95, take Occoquan/Lake Ridge exit (160-B). Turn right onto Burke Lake Road (Rt. 645). Then turn left onto Missionary Lane.

FERRY FARM FIELD

From I-95, take Route 17 east towards Falmouth. Go straight thru traffic light onto Butler Rd. (Route212) At next traffic light turn right onto White Oak Rd. At traffic light turn left onto Kings Highway (Route3). Go 1 mile, then turn left onto Ferry Rd. (Route606). Go about 1 mile, Ferry Farm Field is on the right next to Ferry Farm Elementary School.

FREDERICKSBURG ACADEMY

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Turn east onto Lafayette Blvd. Go past Safford Dodge and turn right at the light onto Falcon Dr. Follow the curve in the road to the school. The field is on the left, across the street from teh school.

FREDERICKSBURG CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

Take I-95 South to exit 126 (Massaponax). Go south on Route 1 until you reach the 3rd traffic light - just pass the Massaponax Outlet center. Turn left onto Route 17 BP at the light (heading towards Germanna Community College). Continue on Rt. 17 BP for about four miles until you reach the intersection of Route 609 (Thorton Rolling Rd.). Turn right onto Rt. 609. Fredericksburg Christian High School is approximately two miles on the right.

FREEDOM MIDDLE SCHOOL

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Proceed west on Rt 208 approximately 3.7 miles to Rt 628 (Smith Station Road). Right onto Rt. 628 for about 2.8 miles then right into parking lot.

GARRISONVILLE ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL (GEMS)

From: I-95 take exit 143, Garrisonville (Route 610 West). Head west on Route 610 for approximately 4 miles (approximately 1 1/4 miles past the North Stafford High School, on the left) and turn left onto Furnace Road. Follow Furnace Road until it ends (approximately 1/4 mile) and tum right onto Choptank Road. Make the first right turn onto Wood Drive (at the school sign) and follow that road through the school parking lot (past the school, which will be on the right) to the soccer fields at the southeast corner of the school property.

GAYLE MIDDLE SCHOOL (OLD)

Take I-95 to Route 17 exit. Take Route 17 East, towards Falmouth. Take a left at the Arby's Restaurant. Gayle Middle School is on the left and the soccer fields are in the rear of the school.

GAYLE MIDDLE SCHOOL (NEW)

HARRISON ROAD CONVENIENCE CENTER ("The Dump")

From Spotsylvania Mall: Take Rt. 3 west to Salem Church Road. Turn left at the light and go past Salem Church Library. Turn right at the next light at Harrison Road. Then turn into the Harrison Road Convenience Center. The parking area for the soccer fields is to the right.

HARTWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

From I-95, take Route17 west toward Hartwood. Turn right at Route 612 (Hartwood Road). Immediately, turn right onto Shackelford Well Rd. (Route 754). Hartwood Elementary School is on the right

HERITAGE BAPTIST

Take I-95 to Dumfries Road (rt. 234). Exit on Dumfries Road and continue on Dumfries Road to Spriggs Road. Take a right on Spriggs Road. Go past Minnieville Road. Heritage Baptist is at 14510 Spriggs Road.

HH POOLE MIDDLE SCHOOL

From I-95 take exit 143 B, Garrisonville Road (Route 610 West). Go past the big shipping center on the left. You will see a smaller shopping center on the right (with green awnings over the windows). The shopping center is opposite Eustice Road. Take a left onto Eustice Road. There will be a light at the intersection of Eustice Road and Route 610. Continue straight on Eustice Road for about two or three miles. You will see HH Poole Middle School on the left, at the end of Eustice, just before you come to Embrey Mill Road.

HOWISON PARK

From I-95 North: Take the Route 123 Exit (Lake Ridge/Occoquan). At the 2nd stoplight, turn left on Old Bridge Road. Proceed to the 3rd stoplight and turn left on Minnieville Road. Continue on Minnieville approximately 6.5 miles (passing Spriggs Road) and park is on your right.

Alternate route: Take I-95 North to Route 234 Exit (Dumfries Road). Bear right at the top of ramp (towards Manassas) and proceed approximately 6 miles to Minnieville Road. Turn right on Minnieville and park is on your left.

JOHN J. WRIGHT MIDDLE SCHOOL

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.). Proceed west on Rt 208 for approximately 6.5 miles to Spotsylvania Courthouse, then left on Rt 208 for about 3.3 miles to J.J. Wright Middle School on the left.

KING GEORGE HIGH SCHOOL

For those going to King George for games, the high school plays its games at the OLD King George Middle School and the directions are: Proceed east on Rt 3 towards Fredericksburg and King George (continue on the bypass; do not go thru the city of Fredericksburg) for approximately 20 miles to the traffic light at Rt 206 (King George Fire Station, Recreation Dept, Fas Mart, and King George High School in general area) and continue straight thru the light for about another 0.5 miles then right onto Rt 678 (St. Anthony's Road). Follow road around for about 0.3 miles to the school on the right.

NI RIVER MIDDLE SCHOOL

Take Route 3 West towards Culpeper. Turn left at Old Plank (Rt. 610). Continue on Rt. 610 approximately 3 miles to Catharpin Lane. Turn left onto Catharpin Lane. School will be on the right (approx.1 mile down Catharpin Lane) just past Wilderness Elementary School.

NORTHUMBERLAND HIGH SCHOOL

From I-95, go out Rt. 3 (east) towards King George and keep going until you get to Westmoreland County. Once you get to Montross, turn left onto Rt. 202 past the Food Lion on Route 3. Travel for 13 miles to the light in Callao. Go straight at the light. This will put you on Rt 360 East. Heathsville is 7 miles ahead, with the High School on the right on 360 just before Heathsville. The school is about 5 miles further than Rappahannock High School from Fredericksburg.

Alternate route: Take I-95 south to the Massaponax exit (exit 126), go south on Rt. 1 to the traffic light at US 17 and turn left on 17. Take Rt. 17 to Tappahannock and go east on US Rt. 360 to Heathsville (about 21 miles past Tappahannock). The high school is on the right on 360 just before Heathsville.

OLD MILL PARK

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Proceed north on US 1 towards Fredericksburg for about 4.5 miles then right at light onto Princess Anne Street. Turn left onto either the 3rd, 4th or 5th streets to Caroline Street. Old Mill Park is straight ahead, between Caroline Street and the river.

From Spotsylvania Mall (Intersection of Rt 3 (Plank Road) and I-95) Proceed east on Rt 3 for about 1.2 miles exiting northbound onto US 1 for approximately 1.6 miles then right at light onto Princess Anne Street. Turn left onto either the 3rd, 4th or 5th streets to Caroline Street. Old Mill Park is straight ahead, between Caroline Street and the river.

PRATT PARK

From: I-95 to exit 133A (Route 17 South, Falmouth). Take Route 17 east to Route 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway). Turn right (south) on Route 1 and make first right (approx. 300 feet) to go down a hill and bear left under Route 1. After you go under Route 1 continue on the road (River Road) about a mile. The park is on your left.

QUANTICO HIGH SCHOOL

From: I-95 Exit 150 east. Go east and cross Route 1 at Traffic light at and enter the US Marine Corps Base Quantico at the Main Gate (stop and check in with the MPs). Take third right Purvis Road after gate and proceed to Quantico High School field on right.

From: I-95 Exit 148. Go east on Russell Road and enter the US Marine Corps Base Quantico at the back gate (stop and check in with the MPs). Continue on Russell Road to left on Purvis Road just before McDonalds (wait until after the game to grease up). Follow Purvis Road to High School on left.

RAPPAHANNOCK HIGH SCHOOL

From Fredericksburg, take Route 3 East through King George, across Route 301, and through the town of Montross (90-degree turn in the center of downtown Montross). Continue on Route 3 about 15 miles to Warsaw, taking the Route 3 Bypass north of Warsaw. Turn left on Route 360 North, and drive 1/2 mile to high school on right. Drive past school and turn right into the last entrance, driving behind the school to field.

SMITH STATION ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

From: Spotsylvania Mall .4 mi west of I-95 on Rt.3. Go south on I-95 for 5 miles to Massaponnax Exit #126 to south on US Route 1 to Left on Larkin Chew Lane and turn Right at stop sign. Follow road to fields behind school.

WALKER GRANT SCHOOL (OLD)

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Proceed on Lafayette Blvd (business US 1) for about 2.8 miles then right onto the Blue-Gray Parkway. Continue through the traffic light by recycling center on the left and exit after crossing over the railroad tracks (about 0.8 miles) for Dixon Street (Rt 2). Turn left at the light, through the next set of lights and then bear left at the second set of lights for Charles Street (the total distance is about 0.5 miles). Turn left onto Charles then another left onto Dunmore Street to the school on the left.

From Spotsylvania Mall (Intersection of Rt 3 (Plank Road) and I-95. Proceed east on Rt 3 towards Fredericksburg for about 1.2 miles. Passing under US1, continue straight ahead at the traffic light onto Blue-Gray Parkway, around the city of Fredericksburg, for about 1.3 miles crossing over the railroad tracks. Take the Dixon Street (Rt 2) exit. Turn left at the lights, through the next set of lights and then bear left at the second set of lights for Charles Street (the total distance is about 0.5 miles). Turn left onto Charles then another left onto Dunmore Street to the school on the left.

WALKER GRANT MIDDLE SCHOOL (NEW)

From: Four Mile Fork Intersection of US Rt 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) and Rt 208 (Courthouse Rd/Lafayette Blvd.) Proceed about 1.3 miles north on US 1 then right at the traffic light onto road opposite Britt Chyrsler Plymouth dealership.

From Spotsylvania Mall (Intersection of Rt 3 (Plank Road) and I-95) Proceed east on Rt 3 for about 1.2 miles then south on US 1 for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left at the traffic light onto the road opposite Britt Chyrsler-Plymouth dealership.

WASHINGTON AND LEE HIGH SCHOOL

From Fredericksburg, take Route 3 East through King George, across Route 301, and through the town of Montross (90-degree turn in the center of downtown Montross). Continue on Route 3 one mile past the high school on your right to the Johnson Activities Center (a long, one-story white buidling) on your left. The field is directly behind the Activities Center.

WIDEWATER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

From: I-95 exit 143 (Rt 610 Aquia) Make a left at the 1st traffic light (immediately after the exit) onto Route 1 north. Continue on Route 1 north through the Route l/Route 610 traffic light for approximately 1 mile. You should see the Crucifix monument on the right side of the road take the side road to the right that passes immediately in front of the Crucifix monument, which is Route 637 (Telegraph Road). Follow Telegraph Road east for approximately 1 mile until you come to a school zone. Make a nght onto DenRich Road, and follow for approximately 1/4 mile to Widewater Elementary School, on the left. Turn into the school parking lot immediately before the school the soccer fields are immediately behind the school.

WILDERNESS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Take Route 3 West towards Culpeper. Turn left at Old Plank (Rt. 610). Continue on Rt. 610 approximately 3 miles to Catharpin Lane. Turn left onto Catharpin Lane. School will be on the right. If you get to Ni River Middle School, you've gone too far.

WILLOWMERE PARK

Because of construction work, Mountain View Road is not accessible from US-1. Here are alternate directions to Willowmere Park.
From the north:
From I-95, take Exit 143, Garrisonville Road west (Rt. 610). Go approximately 5 miles and turn left at Joshua Road. Go approximately 3 miles. At the end of Joshua Road, turn right on Mountain View Road (Rt. 627). Go approximately 1.5 miles and turn left on Willowmere Pond Road. The park is on the right. Once you're in the parking lot, go left. The soccer fields are at the rear of the park.
From I-95, take Exit 140, Courthouse Road west (Rt. 630). At the end of Courthouse Road (approx. 5 miles), turn left on Shelton Shop Road (Rt. 648). At the end of Shelton Shop Road (approx. 3/4 mile), turn right on Mountain View Road (Rt. 627). Go approximately 6 miles and turn left on Willowmere Pond Road. The park is on the right. Once you're in the parking lot, go left. The soccer fields are at the rear of the park.
From the south:
From I-95, take Exit 133, Warrenton Road (US-17) north. Go approximately 5 miles and turn right at Poplar Road (Rt. 616). Go to the end of Poplar Road (approx. 9 miles) and turn right at Mountain View Road (Rt. 627). Go approximately 3/4 mile and turn right on Willowmere Pond Road. The park is on the right. Once you're in the parking lot, go left. The soccer fields are at the rear of the park.
