Welcome to the Official Internet Web Site of the Rappahannock Soccer Referees Association. Our goal is to provide referees with every possible opportunity for improvement and advancement by making available to them accurate, up-to-date information, regardless of their association membership or affiliation.
Your comments and suggestions are appreciated and should be directed to the Web Site Editor.
USSF Training - NEW!
All USSF referees must re-certify for 2014 (except new referees who just took the new referee class). If you haven't recertified yet, your options are now much more limited. There are a few remaining classes in the Central, North, and South areas of the State. Check the State Referee Website for the most up to date schedules.
Please go to the State Referee page and follow the instructions to register for 2014. Then you will be able to select your clinic (after 24-hour wait).
If you are a Grade 7 or above, including State Emeritus grades, there are no remaining recertification clinics.
RSRA sponsored Referee Training will resume in August 2014. Look for updates here or on the State Referee Website.
Mandatory RSRA Pre-Season Meetings - NEW!
ALL RSRA officials must attend a pre-season meeting for the spring 2014 season. This is to ensure that we are all on the same page with the league rules and that we have your correct information in Arbiter. We also pass along important RSRA membership information at this time and will be having elections this spring, so it is mandatory that all officials attend, as required in our by-laws.
ALL RSRA MEMBERS MUST ATTEND ONE OF THESE MEETINGS!
*** March 20, 7 to 9 pm, at the Rowser Building, Room A, Stafford.
***March 24, 7 to 8:30 pm, at the King George Elementary school cafeteria.
Field training session for new referees and returning referees who want to get experience at center is scheduled for March 22 at Smith Lake Park. Please see the schedule posted on Reflady.com website. E-mail your request for time slots to: Barbara Brandao.
